I joined leap.club on October 19th, 2020 in one of the many pivots I have taken in my career. TLDR — I have been an entrepreneur, a restaurateur, a content writer to now building a robust platform where f̶e̶m̶a̶l̶e̶ leaders come together to help each other grow. The best part? I’ve only ever built with women.

And now, I’m building for them.

My favorite part of working here is the feeling of belonging to something big, powerful, and influential. It’s so gratifying to engage with members, get feedback first hand and most importantly, having colleagues within reach to learn from, everyday. I have always been a team player, it is honestly the only know way I know how to work and leap reinforces that, even though we all work remotely and I haven’t ever met some of my team members.

member love is our fuel!

Whether it is at our monthly company huddles or even passing conversations, there is a sense of creative urgency. The culture encourages experimentation and reinvention and constantly pushing the needle and questioning everything (just the healthy amount of it). Whilst this took a little bit to get used to, it most definitely creates a workspace conducive to the creation of some great ideas. I am inspired by my team as much as the product we have built/are building. Everyone here is willing to listen, challenge, and teach.

At leap, “learning” and “doing” are intertwined. Learning impacts everything we do. We thrive on fun and creativity while spurring collaboration. I’m challenged on a daily basis to learn and grow — from both within the team and from other trailblazers on the leap network. Learning can be very uncomfortable, but there are always people who are guiding and mentoring me.

meeting cool women is just another job perk :)

Till I joined leap, I had never networked, never pitched and never stepped out of my comfort zone in a lot of aspects. Looking back, there are so many mistakes I made along the way as an entrepreneur. Today, I reach out to strangers like a boss, write cold emails like a pro and upskill on the job (I know, right?!)

I remember Anand telling me that at leap, we never get married to anything. We’ll always change lanes and as long as we’re headed in the right direction, you can brake and accelerate all you want. And that hasn’t changed. From Day 1.

Cliched & overused pun disclaimer : very glad I took the leap and cannot wait to end the Zoom life and go back to meeting everyone in person.

Oh and did I mention we’re looking for all-stars to join the team? ⛹🏼‍♀️ Write to us at jobs@leap.club with a 60 second video of why we’re the right fit.

brb, gotta send emails
